Referrals
The Psychology Clinic operates by way of appointments only. Anybody can refer themselves to us by simply getting in touch.
Our psychologists are registered with Medicare, and if you wish to claim a rebate through Medicare, you need to have a referral from your GP. When booking a visit to your GP, please advise them that you are seeking a referral to a psychologist under the Better Access to Mental Health scheme. This process takes approximately half an hour.
Fees
Sessions at The Psychology Clinic are about an hour in length. Sessions cost $130, and those with a mental health plan/referral from a GP can claim a Medicare rebate, which is approximately $83. Lower rates are possible in certain circumstances, particularly for health-care card holders, or those engaged in long-term treatment. We accept debit and credit cards, cash and cheque.
To claim either bulk-billing or a rebate through Medicare, please bring your Medicare card, and your GP referral. We can provide electronic rebates on the spot, thereby saving you a trip to Medicare, if you bring a debit card to your session.

We are also registered with Workcover, and a number of private health funds.
