Referrals

The Psychology Clinic operates by way of appointments only. Anybody can refer themselves to us by simply getting in touch.

Our psychologists are registered with Medicare, and if you wish to claim a rebate through Medicare, you need to have a referral from your GP. When booking a visit to your GP, please advise them that you are seeking a referral to a psychologist under the Better Access to Mental Health scheme. This process takes approximately half an hour.

Fees

Sessions at The Psychology Clinic can vary but are generally about 50 minutes in length. Fees are charged on a sliding scale, with lower rates possible in certain circumstances, particularly for health-care card holders, or those engaged in long-term treatment. We accept debit and credit cards, cash and cheque, and Medicare can generally provide a rebate on-the-spot for those with a valid referral.
