What we do at The Psychology Clinic

Psychology is an Ancient Greek term for the study of the soul. Our registered psychologists have studied how people think, act and communicate. They do not prescribe medication, but rather, practice counselling, having been trained over many years under clinical supervision. Talking is the basis of treatment, and the purpose of talking is to learn about oneself. Many people notice that they have similar problems again and again, sometimes in intimate relationships, family life, or the workplace. The Psychology Clinic helps people identify the sources of their problems, and thereby address them. We consider every individual to be unique, and we aim to approach each person one at a time.

Please note that, due to the sensitive nature of our work, we are unable to take students or volunteers for placements. We can provide supervision and secondary consultation.
